I
miss
you!

I was born to tell you I love you...
I'm sorry I took so long...
for my baby;
Lady of perfection,
Do not be afraid.
You are not alone.
You have me to share your bed.
Lay the bed and set it up,
In crimson or in white.
Lay you down as so do I,
In brilliant blinding light.
If death comes for you.
Let it take me too.
Without you there is no life.
For I have life in you.
I'm currently listening to "I Now Know Things" from Into the Woods (Thanks to Joel!). Stephen Sondheim is GOD! God I tell you... I am of course quoting Cheryl whom i totally agree with. You have not known musicals until you have listened to Sondheim. Somehow everything else seems to fade when compared. I just watched Into the Woods as part of my theatre class on thursday. Its sooo cool. Hehe. And it seems that my theatre lecturer isn't the only one who likes Sondheim. That same morning, when i went to collect the DVD from the head of my department, Rey, I found out that he worships Sondheim as well! Hehe. Its quite funny though... Some people just can't seem to appreciate Sondheim. My parents find Sweeny Todd (yet another Sondheim musical) unbearable. I can't fathom why though... Its so brilliant.
Okok, enough of Sondheim. Hehe. I just attended, well not so much atttended as help out in the Choral Fest last weekend. It was pretty cool. There were sooo many people. Close to 200 participents. The girls out numbered the guys 3 to 1. Come on guys... where the hell are you!? Haha. Not like I'm complaining though. Who knew butt rolls could be so fun? Haha. I had learnt how to butt roll a month or two ago as I had to present a performance in College as a very feminine man. Complete with wig, bra and skirt. Hahaha. It was very entertaining and might I add quite fun to try out although i never want to go there again. Hahaha. Anyway, I learnt how to do a butt roll then as part of my performance. For the benefit of those who don't know what a butt roll is, do you watch those rap video's? There's always a scene or more, where a girl bends down low and gets up in this way where her butt kinda sticks out. Just leave that to your imagination for a moment and then replace me with that girl, and now I'm on stage doing that. Hahaha. Very fun I tell you. Got lots of attention too. Hahaha.
I have just realized that we actually have some very young talent around and quite honestly I'm jealous. Haha. I heard some of the people at Choral Fest sing, they were o`kay la... Then I heard others that just blew my mind away (you know who you are). Some of these people are simply amazing. Reggie, Joanne and I were just like... wow. Hahaha.
There was some drama this year at choral fest though. Some of which i shall not mention but made things quite the interesting. Lets see what else... Ooh. The Sam Tet Choir from Ipoh is gooood. Its an all boys skool up till form 5, so they're choir is mostly composed of guys. They are very good. I've been told they've always been good. The choir is conducted by a Sam Tet guy who I've been told is thought to be good looking by the girls of the choral fest. Hahaha. Ooh speaking of girls at choral fest, apparently some of them were interested in one of the guest speakers, Shiak Yao. If anything, he's bloody funny. Haha. And he's a tenor! :( not fair. Haha. Anyway, some of the girls are quite drawn to him, quite alot actually... the funny thing is that he heard some of them asking each other "Is he gay ar??" HAHAHAHA. No idea how Shiak reacted but its tres funny.
On the final day the YKLS came and performed two songs. "Hello" composed by Saidah Rastam for last years choral fest and "Serunai di Waktu Malam" arranged by our very own Geneviene. We did ok apparently. Haha. I thought that Hello was a bit off but even Chi Hoe said it was good. Hehe. All in all it was a good performance la. Sadly I didn't have much time to socialize with the participents because i was helping out :(
It was a good weekend all in all. I even went out to One Utama after Choral Fest with some of the JB participents which i had befriended. Some of the ONLY people i befriended actually... No one else approached me. Why won't anyone talk to me?!?! Haha. Seriously, no one approached me to talk to me. Well just a few la. But no girls asked me for my number. Very the sedih. Haha. Ahh nvm la. It was fun. Hehe.
Ok, now I'm tired of typing already so I shall go. I'll update again... umm... next week? Month? Haha. We'll see. Bye!
